  Overall Experience
Due to inclement weather , additional facility was sourced . We obliged as we shared the same sentiments for the tournament to be a success. For boys U/12 we went to Kemsley Tennis Courts. My son and I arrived at 13:40 at Kemsley, at that time only court 1 and court 2 had players on . Players who were there before us were waiting for either courts to open. 30 min later Court 1 opened up and they went on court to play. 10 minutes later Camille advised that the remaining players must get on court to play, in court 3 and 4. I express that my son would rather wait for court 2 as the state of court 3 and 4 is bad which is why the players before us didn’t utilise them and waited for court 1 and 2.

I was appalled and extremely disappointed with the inhuman response which was was rude inconsiderate and unfair I received from the officials.Camille came to us to advise that she just go there she was not there when other players waited for the other courts so she is there now officiating and players must go and play. This is untrue , because when we arrived she was there , she even telephonically looked for my son’s partner who was not at the venue when we arrived, whilst players before us were waiting for the courts.

As I was still explaining to her, she pointed to Clint that as he is the official he is making the decision that players must go and play and utilise court 3&4. I explained to him that court 1 was utilised by under 12 players, court 2 by another age group. They allowed the under -12 players before us to wait for either of the 2 courts .Why are they not consistent, undermining and discriminating other players. Is it because they deem them as black and inferior? Pressure from inclement weather did not affect only officials , it affected all parties concerned, players and parents whom we all sacrificed a lot to make the tournament a success, so this was not an excuse to bring up only when it suited them. We drove to PE taking a chance on the unpredictable weather. Equality and Fairness should have been applied to all players .What Camille and Clint did was unjust. Clint even had the audacity to write on the EC parent & player group “Parents and players are our clients and you deserve excellent service” This is contrary to the rudeness and arrogance he displayed to me when I was highlighting his inconsistency. He threatened me that if my child is not on the courts in 15 minutes as per his call as the OFFICIAL, then it will be a walkover, defending his action of not putting the other players before us , that he thought the other players on court 2 were about to finish but they took longer . Where is consistency in that? Whilst adjusting to that , Camille out of the blue advised that the matches would start at 2 all. Can that decision be randomly be enforced? We were 4 groups of players, first 2 played full sets and we started at 2 all. Please enlighten me.

Parents were literally begged to participate in this tournament to make the numbers. If this is the type of treatment we receive in showing our support TNMB will receive challenges in receiving support going forward.
